Disneyland

It's only taken me a month to get the Disneyland pictures up. That is why you might be confused with the cute pumpkin Minnie and Donald that greeted us at the front gate. It really did make sense to have these up...in mid October. Anyways, we entered thru these magical gates..and waited for about half an hour for our family to arrive. During this time, two things became abundantly clear. First we waited by the little Snow White fountain on the side of Sleeping Beauty castle and it was obvious that Alianna never wanted to leave. Also there were A LOT of BYU t-shirts entering the magic kingdom that day. We later discovered that Utah Teacher's Union or something gave all their teachers 2 days free and then had 2 days later that week off of school. Since those dang Mormons don't know how to have just 2 kids but have like 5 or 6, it was a wee bit crowded. But we pressed on.
The first ride we got on was Mr Toad's Wild Ride, which was not the best idea because that ride is SCARY! Poor Alianna was a bit scared of all the dark rides after that, except Winnie the Pooh which was a big hit. I think the only Fantasyland ride she really loved was Dumbo. the whole ride she said "WEEEEE!YAY!" and did not want to get off.(Excuse my double chin, I was scrunching down to fit in and almost didn't put this picture up but Alianna is soo cute in it.) Minnie was of course a HUGE hit. I'm pretty sure Alianna could have just spent the whole two days in Minnie's house playing with the kitchen dishwasher and stove.
Ms. "ba-ba-bell" was also a big hit. She even gave Tink a flower and Tinkerbell thought it was the cutest thing that she called her ba-ba-bell.
Poor ArJay got banished to the line to met the princesses by himself because Alianna didn't really get the concept of standing in line for half an hour. He says he kept letting everyone around him know he really wasn't a creeper. But I'm pretty sure it was worth it since she was in awe of meeting "rorie".
Remember how she did NOT want to leave the snow white fountain. All the rest of that morning all we heard was cries of "sNo white! sNo White!" It got to the point that we couldn't say the name because she would just cry so my father-in-law dubbed her "the Cold Caucasian". Needless to say, when we went thru the Princess Faire line and Snow White was one of the 3 she met, I'm pretty sure it was the highlight of her life.
Day two was spent in California Adventure for most of the day and was much more relaxed because it was not nearly as crowded in that park. The first thing we did was the Playhouse Disney show, which she loved because it was "Ickey clubhouse" and "tigga and pooh" and had bubbles rain from the ceiling. But I think the all time favorite was the carousel. She seriously went on it 8 times in a row. The guy in charge told Popa, who was taking her, after about the 4th round that he could just stay sitting. The only problem was she still had to change animals every time. She only rode the seals and sea otters, but I'm pretty sure her goal was to ride every different one on the carousel.
So all in all, it didn't go exactly how we thought it would( but then when does life with kids ever go how you plan) but we still had a blast meeting all her favorite idols, watching parades, and riding rides.

Halloween

I didn't get any pictures from the church trunk or treats on Saturday night because I was on my own and she was having so much fun I had a hard time keeping up with her! But Mom Gamble had a fun little family thing on actual Halloween night. She had masks for the kids to paint. Alianna's was a cat and she was very intent on it if you can't tell. They also had pumpkins to carve and caramel apples to eat. I may or may not have inhaled my caramel apple and half the one I was supposed to bring home to ArJay since he was working. Shhh...don't tell him.

We had the hardest time getting the kiddos to sit still for pictures in their costumes. Especially when the Jedi knights got out their light sabers and Alianna got jealous. Luckily cousin Tyson was very sweet and let her hold his.
I'm pretty sure this is the only shot where Alianna was actually looking at the camera and she was only doing a "HIYA!" karate move mimicking her uncle. We had a blast! Thanks grandma!

Birthday festivities continue...

Since today Is Alianna's actual birthday and it is also a day ArJay actually has off, we decided to have a little outing and invited Aunt Candice( who had to work during the party) and Aunt-in-law(?) Tania and little Sadie to the zoo with us. All morning long she kept telling me "enmoles". I thought she was saying Elmo but as soon as we got to the zoo and she started screaming it I realized she was excited about the animals.

Right here we were staring right at the polar bear. I think it must have been a little too exciting for her because right after this shot she peed all over herself( although she had already peed all over when we first got there.) Apparently it was a little too much excitement because she also peed all over herself when we got to McDonalds play place for lunch. And the potty training was really starting to make improvements....sigh....note to self, no exciting outings with very few bathrooms when potty training.

After naps, we decided to go on the maiden voyage of the bike. She had ridden it around the living room but not out on the street. I don't think I can convey how adorable she looked in her huge helmet and knee pads as she said "WEEEEE! RIDE!WEEE!" Up and down the neighborhood streets. All and all an awesome day....except for all the pee.

Alianna turns two!

Yesterday we had Alianna's birthday party. It was a lot of fun despite some obstacles we faced that we worying me a little including: not very successful dive into potty training that week, Alianna was sick, and of course we showed up at the park(which you can't reserve) to find a lady sitting at our pavilion were we already had stuff up and the grass soaking wet because they are re-seeding. Luckily it all worked out. She went potty before we left( although it was in her pants, at least it wasn't at the park!), she only had a man voice from losing her voice and was not sick, the lady said she was just waiting for her tent and her party wasn't until later, and we just didn't do the field games and played on the playground again. We had all her favorite people there minus a few sickies, even grandma and popa weir and uncle Mitch were able to drive over to join us.

We had yummy lots of yummy food. I went a little crazy with the cute minnie red polka dots and even cut sandwiches into mickey heads.

This is my first attempt at Marshmallow Fondant. Please do not laugh. I saw this a while back on So you think you're crafty and got ambitious thinking I could re-create it. The head is a half of the soccer bowl Wilton cake pan and the ears are sugar cookies in case any of you were scratching your heads.
She is one spoiled/lucky little girl with all the amazing presents she got. Apparently everyone has her pegged because everything was princesses, Minnie, or coloring and she couldn't be more thrilled! We got Alianna a trike with the handle in back so when she gets bored pedaling, or doesn't even start, we can still go for a "bike ride"/walk.She was pretty excited about it because everytime we go to the store she spots the bikes across the store and tries to take them home. The bottom is a shot of most of the kids chowing down, Thanks for coming guys we had a blast! Or and thanks a lot for the belly shot of the two preggo girls Dad, it's really flattering. ( FOr those of you wanting to laugh at me, I'm the belly in red.)

It's a.......

Arm! Ok OK I know, that was mean. But that was how we felt during the whole appointment today. The tech kept showing us all these appendages. Honestly after she told us the heart and brain looked good, we were just anxious to find out what it was. It didn't help that Alianna was screaming bloody murder because she thought the tech was hurting me.Although it amazes me what they can see with technology, check out that profile shot.
Arjay says it looks like Alianna's nose. OK soo drumroll...
IT'S A BOY!!
ANd since I'm sure you'll all ask, yes we're pretty dang sure. He wasn't too shy. Check out that shot ! (ArJay couldn't be prouder, he's strutting around like a peacock)

It actually didn't really come as much of a shock, we've felt it was a boy for a while. We are super excited though! My family is a girl(me) then and boy and ArJay's family is a girl then a boy(him) so I guess we are just keeping the tradition alive. ArJay had to stop on our way home at Bookman's and buy his boy a HeMan DVD he saw a couple of weeks ago. I think I should be worried that he's going to buy his "boy" lots of fun toys....

Cinderella here we come!

It's finished! WOOHOO! Here's me doing a little peanuts happy dance. I finished Alianna's Cinderella dress tonight good thing since we leave for Disneyland Monday. I do not know why this thing gave me such grief. Well, I know one reason, it was from a pattern. Patterns and me, we're not friends. They don't explain themselves very well and their visual aids are even more confusing. Give me a blog tutorial or let me make it up and I'm good. In fact I made a couple of halloween skirts and other items to take breaks from this bad boy because I was so frustrated when I broke a needle on the crazy gathers. I don't know why I worried so much, Alianna nearly peed her pants and jumped around in giddy excitment yelling "LELLA LELLA" and even gave herslef a twirl in front of the mirror. So here it is in all it's glory.(I swear it looks cuter on, it's hard to get all the gathering to lay right when it's flat on a table.)

And since we are going to be at Disneyland for two days, I had to make another outfit right? And since Alianna's other all-time favorite is Minnie and we already had the ears from Grandma, the material in my stash and the white shirt and leggings in her clothes, this one cost a grand total of $0 and seriously maybe took an hour. Of course I stil see lots of flaws, but Alianna loves it. She saw it in her closet this week and had to wear it and only took it off for bath time.

Note to self: Only make clothes for cute 2 year olds and never worry about perfection again.

I know it's October but c'mon...

We have had some..interesting nights with Alianna the last 3 nights. Some of them even creeped me out a bit. Just as a preface, Alianna has been in her princess toddler bed for over a month and it has been really great transition. She was staying in from night one except for when she'd end up on the floor in her sleep because she's such a crazy sleeper. ;0)

Night one: About 5 am I wake up because I think I hear a door close. In my drowsy state, I think I must have imagined it but sit up and look around just in case Alianna did it( remember that she NEVER left her room). As I lay back down I see a tiny face standing right next to my head! I seriously nearly peed my pants. She must have been super sneaky because I sat up as soon as soon as I heard the door and did not hear or see her come around my bed at all. She just looked at me like I was crazy and 2 year old's sneak around super stealthy like to scare the beegeezes out of their mom's all time time and says, in a slow voice like I'm crazy "Hi Mom."

Night two: At 4:45 I sit up because I think I hear something and I am still paranoid after my creeper scary movie child episode the day before. I sat up for a few minutes not hearing anything. Then I hear the fan, that is on ArJay's side of the bed go off. I look over and my sneaky little culprit is at it again. I didn't even know she knew how to turn off the fan. So I use my commanding Mom voice and so "Alianna Mae stop that!" which inadvertently wakes ArJay up in a total state of confusion. I'm pretty sure he thought I was just talking in my sleep at first(which I have a tendency to do)

Night three: 2:30 am I hear Alianna crying.Miraclously she stayed in her room, I'm thinking she was so confused she didn't actually know where the door was because when I came in she is looking around like a rat trapped in a maze. Once the door is open she makes a beeline for it screaming "Jeeew, Jeew"( translation: juice) I'm still pretty sure she's half asleep but hse's heading for the stairs so I cut her off and tell her I'll get some. It msut have computed because she stopped her mad dash. I go grab a sippy cup and find her back in her bed. I think I'll slip out but she sits up and cries jeew again. I hand it to her and she lays down. 2 seconds later she's crying again and starts over the "Jeew" pursuit as I try to explain to the half awake child that she has one. At this point, I realize I gave her the cup that's hard to suck out of, go get a new one, sit her up and she chugs it. As soon as it's done she goes"YUMMY!" and literally falls back against her pillow dead asleep. I'm still not convinced she was really awake for the whole episode...but then neither was I at 2:30am.

So does anyone else ever have their kids creep then out in their sleep sometimes or is it just mine?

Candy Corn Wreath

What do you get when you have a dollar store wreath, candy corn, hot glue, and a pregnant woman with a recent penchant for all things crafty? A cute quick wreath for the front door.

Those who have been to my house recently will remember that I did have a witch on the front door, but I saw this on the cover of a magazine today at the grocery store and thought it was cuter and I could re-create it easily.

Plus, can you really have too many cute Halloween decorations?

Girl Time!

I need to preface this by saying that we love all the boy cousins and friends Alianna plays with. Today we actually had girl time with my friend Lori's daughter Adelaide. At first, I'm not sure Alianna knew what to do with a girl but she sure figured it out! We put on some music and sweet little Adelaide came running over to grab Alianna's hand to dance.

Soon they were giggling so hard they were falling over each other more than dancing which of course turned into a marathon course of Ring around the Rosies much to my( ie the song caller who had to sing it about 50 thousand times) chagrin.

Then Alianna got out the horses and they galloped around the room. Alianna noticed I had the camera out by now and galloped around going "CHEESE!"

We ended off our morning as any good girl time does, playing dress up. Adelaide informed us we were all wearing birthday hats and Alianna decided they were both "ba-ba bells"( Tinkerbells).
Needless to say, it was a blast. I think it was the first time Alianna has ever had uninterrupted girl time and she thought it was the coolest thing. I think I better apologize in advance in case she tries to dress up her boy cousins or Dallin the next time she sees them...

Tucson Children's Museum

I know it has been ages since I have posted but it is related to that last post. The 1st trimester has hit with a vengenence. I also found out yesterday that I have Hypothyroidism again( I had it in high school). The early symptoms are just like beginning of pregnancy (fatigue, dizziness, nausea, weight gain) so i just assumed it was pregnancy. They figured it wasn't causing the morning sickness and general crapiness, but compounding it. Yay! I am not just a whiner! The pill should help and I am 12 weeks today so hopefully, in ArJay's words, he will "get his wife back"!

So have you been to the Tucson Children's Museum? IT is seriously one of the coolest places in Tucson. I had heard a lot about it and wanted to try it, but it's kind of expensive and I wasn't sure Alianna was old enough. Lo and Behold, they are doing "Monsoon Mondays" for $2 for adults and under 2 is free, my kind of price tag. Just to reiterate, it is one of the coolest places in Tucson. It took us an hour just to do a loop looking at all the different rooms. There's everything from dinosaurs to trains to music to a "grocery store".

I couldn't get any posed shots because she was running the entire time. This was the 4 and under "rainforest" play room. I think she sat pushing that button to light up the rainforest for about 10 minutes.

My camera died shortly after we got there but I think 90% of the pictures would have had this look of shock and awe anyways. Every new room brought a "wow" and she would stand at the entrance for 5 minutes staring. Of course, my little flirt got super excited when she saw two little boys run into the dark "Light writer" room and had to go after them. SHeesh... I 'm sure I'm going to get calls in kindergarten about her kissing boys on the playground.

Anyways, I HIGHLY recommend the children's museum, especially for family nights thru labor day since it's super cheap, we'll see you there next week!

HEy, there's a baby in there!

We had our first OB appointment today. Alianna got to come since ArJay was coming too. We got to see the baby on the ultrasound and the little squeegee even kicked and flung it's arms around. Alianna was a little worried about what the doctor was doing but otherwise she did pretty well. I LOVE my new OB. She was super excited for us, very understanding of my aversion to inductions, and kept telling us how funny and fun we were. What more could you wish for! The funniest apart was as she was starting the ultrasound she asked what we were thinking it was. I said I was thinking boy just because it is completely different and I have been eating EVERYTHING and not as sick. She said that is usually how it goes. We shall see.....

My Eggo is Preggo

So...I have been debating when to make this announcement. On one hand I am still REALLY early in the pregnancy and you are not really supposed to talk about it yet. But on the other hand, we are soo stinking excited and ArJay has already been telling people ( remember how he was "not telling a soul until 12 weeks this time" not so much. He started calling family as soon as I showed him the test). Plus I have been getting some funny looks from some friends as the morning sickness hit hard and early and I look a lot like old Chinese food warmed up and left on the counter for a couple of days. Don't want anyone worrying, I'm not dying and I (hopefully) will have a cute glow in another 6 weeks instead of the deathly pale pallor I am currently sporting.

We are super excited, nervous, anxious, thrilled and a million other emotions. It is a little strange to me how much more I worry and think about it the second time around. I guess because we are not just changing our lives but Alianna's as well. I was a little worried, but I'm pretty sure she'll be an awesome big sis since she has been taking such good care of her ill momma. Yesterday as I was puking my guts out she came up and patted my back, leaned on my back, and saw that I was still sick, she started the whole process over. When I was finished she gave me a huge smile and hug. Today as I was puking( noticing a pattern?) she came and patted me, realized it wasn't helping, and ran into the next room where dad was and grabbed him frantically saying"UP! UP! Hep!hep!"(help). She has even been very patient with all the movies she ahs to watch because Momma can't get the energy for anything else, although I'm pretty sure she is soo tortured to have to watch her "Belle" Cinderella twice a day...NOT

So,to answer all the basic questions: I'm due March 1st, they'll be about 28 months apart, and we honestly do not care what it is. We love our girl and would love another but it would be fun to try the other side with a boy.

Cinderella in training

I was mopping the floors this afternoon because the missionaries were coming for dinner, don't go thinking this is a regular occurrence :0) Of course our sweet little curious missy had to come investigate. She was adamant about it too, she climbed thru and over daddy ( who was supposed to be distracting her for me).She ran over grabbed the rag right out.....
And started "mopping" and giggling the whole time. Maybe I am onto something here..mopping sure doesn't make me giggle, isn't it depriving her joy to NOT let her do it for me??

I wish I got a picture of the serious face she got as she honestly scrubbed one area for 10 minutes. Instead, when I get out the camera she starts making faces like this:

CHEESE!! What a goober! She really is into" helping" mommy right now though. If I get out the broom, she has to sweep, she has to vacuum( but she only goes forward and doesn't understand that I have to bring it back), and she climbs up on the dishwasher and empties them for me no matter if they are clean or dirty. If only I can get her doing things the right way.....hmm..maybe we need to watch Cinderella a few more times......

4th of july shirt

I can not remember where I saw this idea on the web somewhere and thought I'd try to be creative ;) I started with these supplies:

And one hour later ( with breaks to stop my daughter from writing on the chairs) I came up with this.

The best part of this cute little number was that the only sewing was ruffling the ribbon, the material was wonder-undered on. AND the shirt was a dollar clearance, fabrics were scraps and ribbon was on hand too. Total cost : $1 Woo HOO! Super easy and cheap but still cute and girly. My kind of project.

Close up of the flag. Next time I definitely need more ruffles and closer together, but I don't think Alianna will mind :0) I have leftover blue star fabric and I'm thinking of making bottoms. What do you think, shorts or skirt?

Scariest morning ever!

*Warning* This is very lengthy but not nearly as long as the morning felt

The premise to this story is that ArJay started the swing shift yesterday and should have been home at 2 am. You will understand the should have been shortly.

I woke up-ish at 5, rolled over and saw ArJay was not there. Sometimes he sleeps on the couch when he comes home late not to wake me and to fall asleep to the couch, so I figured that was it and went back to sleep. I woke up at 6:15, came downstairs to no ArJay. So at this point he is 4 HOURS late. This is not normal, 1-2 hours normal if a last minute call out, 4 made me worry. I automatically called him and got voicemail, about 4 times.

At this point I start freaking and call dispatch. THe dispatch lady was NOT helpful. I identified myself, asked if my husband was on a call out. She said " Umm.....yeah...I think he might be..." I asked if she was sure and she must have sense me annoyance because she said hang on. I heard her in the background radio his badge number and a bunch of police number gibberish. I didn't hear his voice but another officer say a bunch of gibberish back. She gets back on adn sounds less sure " UMm.yeah..I think he's on a call out" ME:"Do you know when he will be back" her: "Um.. no...I have no idea when he'll be back". So at this point I am thinking that other officer informed her he was dead or gravely injured and she just doesn't want to be the one to tell me.

So I hang up, took a deep breath and said an impromptu, informal prayer. I believe it was more along the lines of "please no" and " Help me calm down". I instantly thought "OK he is fine, that lady is just dumb and thought she didn't need to tell me details" Not the most christ-like thought, but that's honestly what I thought :0)

Alianna woke up late, of course when I actually wanted her up to distract me she slept in! When she did wake up I was actually in a zen-like state of calm thinking, whatever comes, we (Alianna and I) will be fine. DOn't think I still wasn't seconds from calling the hospitals though.

I got a call at 8 am( 6 hours late) from ArJay's number. The first thing I heard was" I'm alright" from my sweet husband's voice. I think that was the first deep breath I took all morning. Turns out he was way out in the boonies-with-no-cell-service-area of the nation all night. He had tried to call multiple times but could not get through and was nowhere close to areas where he could drive real quick to call. He tried to come home 3 times but kept getting calls he was sent to or felt he had to answer for his own conscience. A quick rundown includes: A car with nearly 400 pounds of marijuana, a guy tried to catch a car on fire with his fiance and the girl he hit on in it, and the first one he stayed after shift for was a guy who kidnapped his 1 month old daughter.

HE was exhausted and did not have to go on that call but wanted to and told me that was why he became an officer, to stop guys like that and protect innocent people. Sometimes he makes me soo proud I can't believe how blessed I am to be married to someone like that. IF only he could be superhero when it doesn't make him 9 hours late and make me hyperventilate......

Swim lessons

I'm not sure if I've said anything about swim lessons yet. We just finished the first 2 week session. IS anybody surprised that Alianna is LOVING it?! They sing a lot of songs "the kids in the pool splash"( instead of wheels on the bus). The whole point is getting the kids used to the water ( not a problem for us) and starting the basics of kicks and strokes. The hardest part of class is right before class starts trying to keep her from taking a giant leap in when no one else is in there to catch her! Our friend Dallin Petty is in her class and they high five and give each other knuckles after they get dunked or other tricks. I really wish I had pics, but since it is parent child and I am obviously in the water holding her, taking pics are not a possiblity.

Cupcakes

We have been hanging out with Copa for a few days while he recovers from his horse accident. It has been a lot if fun. I was making cupcakes in ice cream cones for a dinner I made for a family in our ward having twins and of course she had to taste test for me.

She was showing me that it got up her "NOOs". She had chocolate boogers the rest of the day. You would have thought she had some weird medical condition.

This is the face I get when I ask "Say Cheese". Don't you wish we could still devour chocolate like a 19 month old. Sometime I do anyways, but only when there aren't any witnesses :0)

Grandma visits

Grandma Weir came for a quick trip this weekend. We had a lot of fun at swim lessons, the splash park, Savers, and "walking Clifford" the stuffed animal in her stroller. And that was all before 4 on Friday! I'm pretty sure that's her favorite part of visits from grandma, we never stop moving. Grandma also introduces us to all kinds of new toys and experiences. She brought this paint with water coloring book that was obviously a big hit. Thanks grandma, now she thinks we have to paint everything:0)

What a difference....

A Day makes!
I don't know why or how but I went from this girl yesterday.....

To this one today! I think she realized what a pill she was too, she kept coming up randomly and and hugging and saying "I woov woo" (I Love you in Alianna-ese).

I'm sure I was just extra cranky because I was being a brat and wanted to spoiled on my b-day, but there is nothing like a beautiful little toddler to keep your pride in check and remind you what is truly important.

Blessed

It has been kind of a roller coaster birthday. The long and short of how the day went was Alianna was awful. It was just one of those days where she didn't want to do anything and screamed and yelled about everything. I love that girl but couldn't seem to fix anything for her . Plus I was already upset about my car fender bender last night....

BUT THEN

I got online to check everything and was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love and birthday wishes. I can't even express how blessed by good friends and family I felt. You'd think I was preggers I seriously cried at all the simple "Happy Birthday"s. Thanks for reminding me that I'm not a total screw-up even if I can't keep my baby happy. I guess I don't make you all want to scream and throw tantrums whenever you see me :0)

primping and b-ball

We went to Copa's basketball tonight after my birthday dinner and obviously had a lot of fun dancing to the "music" and balls bouncing....

Yelling "Go GO GO!" while punching her fists because she saw someone else do it...

Putting lipgloss on Daddy when she got bored with the game...

And giving up on putting on herself correctly and chomping down instead. ( Note to self: NO need to buy teething rings, just keep a steady supply of lipgloss tubes on hand)

Fun organizing, not an oxymoron

Today was laundry day and as I tried to stuff more of Alianna's clothes in her dresser, the bottom of the drawer nearly feel out. I guess it's time to weed through huh? So I also took down all the baby clothes that where in small tubs at the top of the closet and put all the clothes in 2 big Rubbermaid tubs and into the garage. Can I tell you how helpful Alianna was with folding clothes nicely into the tub. NOT!! So as tiny dresses and sleepers( which by the way made me tear up seeing how little she was!) started flying around the room, I decided to join her. Way more fun and I only get so many years of those sweet baby giggles. We pulled out clothes and had an impromptu fashion shoot.

Now before you start ordering me fashion magazine subscriptions or asking if I am colorblind, she picked out this particular ensemble. Although with the fashions I've seen lately, she could probably walk in Bryant Park like that.

Such a HAM! Who's kid is that, certainly not mine. ;)
And yes the clothes did all get put away snug in the garage tubs,an hour later than I intended. But I'll tell you, it was the funnest waste of time I've had in ages.

Summer Fun

Oh boy are we going to have a busy fun summer! We are doing Kids movie at the theater Mondays at 9:45, swim lessons Tuesday thru Friday at 10:15, walking at 7, play groups on Tuesdays, Library on Wednesday. Sheesh, hold onto your hats folks! Is it strange that I am super excited for all this? Alianna is so cute and expressive right now, I can't wait to see how she well react to all of it.

Example A: Last night Alianna went to her first church softball game. I was really nervous because it started soo late I figured you'd be crabby the whole time. She proved me wrong. She played ball with some little kids and became super excited every time she saw Daddy. As he went to bat the first time, She screamed and ran up to the fence. He swung and missed and she cried "Oh NO Daddy!" When he hit it she squealed and clapped. Sometimes I can't stand it how cute she is!

Water fun!

We went to the splash park with our friends Devon and Dallin on Friday. Can you tell how much fun we had?? Thanks to Michele's Mom for the awesome pics!
Isn't it funny how kids make everything a toy? We were at the park the other day and one of the sprinkler heads must have been broken and created a huge puddle. Dallin, Devon, Alianna, and
Lowe were all over it. At first we all kinda cringed thinking of the muddy car seats and handprints. But really, you are only a kid once and how do you say no to those faces!

Our Coy daughter

Is it crazy to say I am already worried about the teenage years with this girl! She is such a flirt! Yesterday at church we sat next to a little boy and she scooted right next to him with her hymnbook and kept giving him this coy little look. Then he wanted to look at her princess book and she wanted l=nothing to do with him. She sat on the other side of me and didn't pay attention as he basically sat in my lap leaning over to get her to notice him.
